Karijini National Park is one of Western Australia’s largest National Parks and a major natural attraction, drawing large numbers of both overseas visitors and Australians touring their own country.

Major capital investment was undertaken to improve and expand the facilities within the campground and in 2006 the Karijini Eco Retreat was opened.
Karijini Eco Retreat is a unique tourist destination offering a range of accommodation from simple camping sites to opulent safari tents with private en suites. The Retreat offers the only luxury accommodation within the Park and is located within walking distance of the magnificent Joffre Gorge.

The development and everyday operations of the Retreat are strongly aligned to the principles of conservation, sustainability and a visceral connection with the land. Guests at the Retreat are encouraged to engage in rewarding cultural experiences such as guided tours and story telling with the Traditional Owners of the region.
